Peanut Butter Balls Recipe

Okay, for those of you who really know me, know I love to make healthy snacks and meals. Peanut butter balls are one of them! They are super easy to make and a perfect pre workout snack or a little something to curb your sweet tooth.

It is made with 5 ingredients:

-Oats:
Oats are nutrient dense food that contains important vitamins and minerals. They are full of fiber which helps keep you full. Oats can also help improve blood sugar control.
-Honey
Full of antioxidants, helps with allergies as well as sore throats and colds.
-Flax seed
Loaded with nutrients, high in omega-3 fatty acids, rich in fiber, can help with weight management, and can protect against cancer.
-All natural peanut butter
Full of healthy fiber, keeps you full longer, contains lots of nutrients, and tastes super yummy!
-Allergen free chocolate chips
These just taste AMAZING!

Now for the actual recipe!

Ingredients:

-1 cup of rolled oats
-1/2 cup of all natural peanut butter
-1/3 cup of local honey
-1/4 cup of grounded flax seed
-1/4 cup of allergen free chocolate chips (I use the Enjoy Life brand)

Directions:

-Blend the oats until it forms a flour.
-Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl, combine well, and roll into balls.
-Keep refrigerated
-Enjoy!
