raise your vibe
Ever hear people say, “good vibes” or “the vibe seems off” or “sending you positive vibes”? What exactly do people mean when they use the term vibe? If you think about it, every living thing on this planet gives off energy (aka vibrations). These vibrations are what aligns you to your spirituality or spiritual purpose.
Like attracts like. So when you are on a lower vibration, you are emitting negative energy out into the world and in turn you receive negative energy. Lower vibration is a spiritual energy frequency associated with negative emotions. Causes of lower vibrations (aka energy takers) include :
1) Drinking alcohol
2) Toxic friends
3) Worrying
4) Negative self talk
5) Living in fear
6) Junk food
7) Dehydration
8) Victim mentality
9) Cursing
10) Watching horror movies
11) Lack of sleep
12) People pleasing
13) Clutter
14) Social media
And the list goes on. Do you remember how you feel after a night out drinking? Everything feels great in the moment, but then the next day you have regrets, a bad hangover, and you feel like garbage, emotionally and physically. Or surrounding yourself with toxic friends. Friends who gossip, friends who are always in a bad mood, or friends who constantly complain about how bad their lives are. When you surround yourself with toxic friends, you become a toxic friend. You start complaining about how bad your life is, you start gossiping, and you are now always in a bad mood. LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE.
So the real question is, how can I raise my vibration? Well first, let me explain what a high vibration is. High vibration frequencies are associated with happiness and positivity. When you operate at a high vibration, you experience more love, peace, joy, and positivity. Personally, I believe when you are operating at a lower frequency, it is easier to let in bad energies and attachments. These attachments feed off of fear, depression, anxiety, etc. Raising your vibration is the answer to getting rid of these attachments and bad energies. Without further ado, here is how to raise your vibe (aka energy givers):
1) Drink water
2) Get daily sunlight
3) Eat healthy and nourishing food
4) Exercise and move your body!
5) Love yourself
6) Journal
7) Gratitude
8) Distance yourself from toxic friends
9) Sleep
10) No alcohol
11) Setting boundaries
12) Saying no
13) Meditation
14) Spending time in nature
15) Walking everyday outside
16) Prioritizing self care
17) Declutter your space
And SO MUCH MORE. These are some of the ways I like to raise my vibration. The higher your vibration is, the happier you will be in this life. People who operate at a higher vibration are more likely to change the world in a positive way.
If you walk into a coffee shop and see the barista looking sad and you smile at her and tell her that she just made you the best latte ever, you could have just easily have changed her day. Now the barista’s vibration is higher. Then the barista sees a homeless man on her way home with a sign saying he is hungry and she buys him a meal from the burger place across the street, now the hungry homeless man’s vibration is higher. Then the homeless man sees that a woman dropped her wallet and he rushes over and grabs it and hands it back to her and the woman is happy to know that there are good people out there, now her vibration is higher. And the cycle goes on and on and on creating a ripple effect of positive energy that this world so desperately needs.
Your natural vibration is your soul’s essence. It reflects your inner thoughts, your beliefs, your feelings, your actions, and more. Surround yourself with the things that help you step into your soul’s essence. Raise your vibration, raise the light within you, raise your consciousness, change the world.
